PrestaShop development: custom modules, ERP and marketplace integrations
The modules your PrestaShop store is missing, written the way PrestaShop would write them.
PrestaShop development is the core of our software work: we write custom modules, integrations with management software and marketplaces and adaptations to version 9, and we put the code into production on servers we manage. Whoever writes the module knows how it behaves under load, because the same team keeps the store running.

Overview
PrestaShop covers catalogue, cart and orders. What sets one store apart from another almost always lies outside: the pricing rule for reseller customers, orders that must reach the management software without being retyped, a catalogue that updates itself from the supplier, Amazon and eBay sales that must draw from the same stock. Those are the features we write.
We write them the way PrestaShop would: a module using the intended hooks, the official classes and APIs, configurable from the back office, without touching the core. That keeps the store upgradable, and whoever comes after us finds readable, documented code.
What we build
- Custom modules: price lists per customer group, discounts with special rules, extra fields on products and orders, shipping calculated on your criteria.
- Links to management software: orders out to your ERP or invoicing tool; stock, prices and customer records back to the store, with queues and error logs.
- Marketplaces: catalogue, stock and order sync with Amazon and eBay, when off-the-shelf modules aren't enough or need adapting to your processes.
- Adapting to version 9: bought or custom modules stuck on version 8 that block the upgrade, brought up to the version 9 APIs.
- Checkout: custom fields, steps and validation rules, including on the new one-page checkout in 9.2.
- Imports and automation: catalogues from supplier files or APIs, with validation and verifiable results; invoicing and notifications without manual work.
- Audits of existing modules: review of code written by others, security included, with an honest estimate: fix or rewrite.
Stack and technologies
We develop in PHP on the PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9 architecture: hooks, overrides only where needed, Symfony for the migrated back office pages, Smarty and Twig for templates. When an integration deserves to live outside the store - middleware towards the ERP, a marketplace sync - we build it with Laravel, with Redis queues to absorb peaks. All code is versioned in Git, with a test copy of the store and repeatable releases. If we also host the store, servers run on Debian or Ubuntu, mainly on Google Cloud.
A real-world example
A B2B distributor on PrestaShop received orders online but retyped them by hand into its management software: two people busy every morning, stock never aligned, sales of items actually out of stock. We built a module that talks to the software's API: orders pass automatically with a tracked outcome, stock flows back to the store at regular intervals and errors end up in a log readable from the back office. The module follows PrestaShop standards, so it stays upgradable along with the store. Result: no more double entry, and orders cancelled for lack of stock reduced to rare cases.
Some of the PrestaShop stores we built: Corso 101, I Muretti, Soccia Alimentari and Sottosopra.
Who it's for
- Growing PrestaShop stores that have outgrown what off-the-shelf modules can do.
- Businesses that need store, management software, warehouse and marketplaces to talk to each other.
- B2B and distributors with price lists, contracts and pricing rules generic modules don't cover.
- Agencies looking for a white-label technical partner for the PrestaShop side of their projects.
How we work
Analysis first: we understand the process and check whether a solid module is already on sale - if there is one we tell you, even if it means selling you fewer hours - and only then do we write code. Every module is versioned, documented and tested on a copy of the store with realistic data before reaching production. Quotes are free, with a reply within one working day; we bill per project at a fixed price or at €75/hour, and for ongoing work many clients use hour packages, which never expire.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom PrestaShop module cost?
A custom module starts from €900, an API integration from €1,100, a link to management software or an ERP from €2,200. The final price is written in the quote, free, before we start; for ongoing changes there's the single rate of €75/hour.
Will the module survive PrestaShop updates?
Yes, because we use hooks, overrides only when truly needed and the official APIs, never editing the core. When a new version comes out the module is checked on the test copy together with the rest of the store.
I have a module stuck on version 8: can you adapt it to 9?
Yes: adaptation starts from €180 per module, tested on a copy of the store. If the vendor already has a compatible version or there's an up-to-date alternative, we tell you first: sometimes replacing it makes more sense.
Do you connect PrestaShop to my management software?
Yes, when the software exposes an API or a reliable import/export: orders, stock, price lists and customer records synced with queues, automatic retries and readable error logs.
Can you fix a module written by someone else?
Yes: we start with a code audit and tell you honestly whether to fix it or rewrite it. Sometimes a rewrite costs less than three rounds of patches.
Who maintains the module after delivery?
Your choice: we deliver versioned, documented code any PHP developer can pick up, or we look after it with hour packages that never expire (5 hours for €350, 10 for €660, 20 for €1,200, 40 for €2,300), with coverage Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00.
