Speed up PrestaShop: a faster store at a fixed price
Slow catalogue pages and abandoned carts: we find where the time goes and remove it.
Speeding up PrestaShop isn't about installing one more cache module: a slow store almost always has two or three precise bottlenecks, and the work lies in finding them. We do it at a fixed price of €399, with before and after measurements on home, categories, product page and checkout.
Where the time usually goes
- Modules running dozens of queries on every page, statistics writing to the database on every visit, modules installed for a test and never removed.
- Database grown for years without cleanup: abandoned carts, connections, statistics and logs slowing down every lookup.
- PrestaShop and Smarty caching disabled or badly configured, often left that way after an old debug session.
- Images that are too heavy, CSS and JavaScript not compressed and all loaded on every page.
- Category pages with layered navigation filters built on tables without the right indexes.

What we do
- Initial measurement of real timings and PageSpeed on the pages that matter for sales.
- Profiling: how many queries and how much PHP time each page takes, which modules weigh most.
- Caching: PrestaShop and Smarty cache setup, CSS and JavaScript compression and bundling.
- Database: cleanup of abandoned carts, statistics and logs; indexes where missing.
- Modules: better configuration, replacement or removal of the slow ones, agreed with you.
- Final measurement and before/after report.
Price and terms
The job has a fixed price of €399 for one PrestaShop or Magento store, during office hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00. For a WooCommerce store, WordPress speed-up at €269 applies.
Not included: changing hosting, rewriting the theme and server configuration, which has its own job: web server tuning. If we find the bottleneck is there, we stop and tell you first. All prices are on the PrestaShop pricing page.
A typical case
A grocery store with 6,000 products: category pages take over three seconds to respond. Profiling shows a "related products" module running 300 queries per page and a carts table with two million rows, almost all from visitors who never came back. With the module set to use the cache, carts older than six months cleaned up and Smarty caching enabled, categories drop under one second without touching the theme or the server.
If more is needed
When the limit is the server, server management or web server tuning are the next step; for a full picture of the store there's the check-up at €240. To keep it fast over time, PrestaShop support.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to speed up a PrestaShop store?
The job costs €399 at a fixed price, for a PrestaShop or Magento store: initial measurement, store optimisation and before/after report. For WooCommerce the WordPress site price applies, €269.
Do you guarantee a PageSpeed score?
No. The score also depends on theme, hosting and external services we don't control. We guarantee the work and the measurements: we show you the timings before and after on home, categories, product page and checkout.
What if the problem is the hosting?
We tell you, even if it means not selling you the optimisation. Server configuration - PHP-FPM, OPcache, MySQL, server-side caching - is a separate job, web server tuning, or server management with us.
Do you touch the theme?
We work on how CSS, JavaScript and images load, not on the design. If the theme is the main cause of the slowness we flag it with an estimate: rewriting it is development.
